I just sent my domestic worker to get her toothache treated. Dr. Joel attended to us. It turned out that her wisdom tooth was badly damaged. Dr. Joel was reassuring and calm, even after seeing such a terrible condition of oral health. The extraction was done within minutes. His steady and confident manner gives the patient a comforting experience. The nurse, Hwee Yee, is also friendly and helpful. I have been visiting Q&M for many years, mostly seeing Dr. Sam. He is very patient and explained every option to salvage my tooth when I visited him on December 8th. He wasn't "pushy" in any way about doing a certain treatment, but shared the pros and cons of various options, most importantly trying his best to keep my tooth. Dr. Sam is also very gentle in the cleaning, polishing, and performing of fillings on my "problematic" molar tooth, and frequently checked in to see if I was alright during the filling process. He explained the how, what, and why before proceeding with the treatment. He was gentle in his tone and patient.
