As a premier institution overseeing the world’s largest public collection of modern art from Singapore and Southeast Asia, the gallery provides a stunning backdrop for an afternoon of inspiration and discovery.
An Afternoon of Art and Leisure
The journey begins with a relaxing, self-guided tour through the gallery's expansive exhibitions. This format allows you to engage with the artworks at your own pace, whether you are drawn to intricate historical pieces or bold modern installations. After working up an appetite in the galleries, the group will head over to the nearby Funan Mall and Peninsula Plaza. These vibrant hubs offer a diverse range of dining options for lunch and plenty of retail therapy for those looking to browse unique shops.
Logistics and Registration
To ensure a seamless experience for everyone, two-way transport has been arranged departing from Pasir Ris Elias CC. The program is scheduled to run from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm, and we kindly ask all participants to gather at the community center by 9:45 am to ensure a prompt departure. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow art enthusiasts and enjoy a curated day out in the heart of the city.
